FAQs

What is crossfit?

CrossFit is a high-intensity fitness training methodology that combines elements from several types of exercise, including: weightlifting, cardio, gymnastics, and functional movements.

CrossFit is infinitely scalable, meaning workouts can be modified to suit beginners, elite athletes, older adults, or those recovering from injury. It's used for general fitness, sport performance, and even military and law enforcement training.

do I need special gear?

Nope! Absolutely not.

You don’t need fancy shoes, wrist wraps, a weight belt, or custom knee sleeves with flames on them to get started. Just show up in whatever you’d normally sweat in. A t-shirt, shorts, and shoes that won’t fall apart mid-burpee. That’s it.

am I fit enough?

We hear this all the time, and the answer is a big, sweaty YES!

You don’t need to be in shape to start CrossFit. That’s like thinking you need to be clean before you take a shower. Everyone starts somewhere, some people can’t do a single push-up on day one, and that’s totally okay. The magic of CrossFit is that everything can be scaled to your level.

Can’t run? We’ll modify.

Never touched a barbell? We’ll teach you.

The goal isn’t to be the fittest in the room; it’s just to show up, work hard, and get a little better each day.

does CCF have showers?

Yes, there are private showers with changing rooms available in both the men’s and women’s locker rooms.

We also have a sauna for your post workout recovery sesh! (it is heavenly in the winter time.)

Our front lobby has a mini fridge stocked with water, BCAA recovery drinks, and delicious protein bars if you need a little pick me up.
